Our Teacher Support Program is designed to empower educators and enhance the learning experience for students. Through a series of workshops and support sessions, we provide essential skills and strategies to address key areas of literacy and technology. By equipping educators with the necessary tools and knowledge, we aim to create a nurturing educational environment where both educators and students thrive.

Literacy Skills Workshop:

In the Foundation Phase Educator Workshop, Grade R-3 educators are introduced to effective phonics and spelling strategies. This interactive session equips educators with survival skills kits, including print resources and word lists, to create phonics flashcards. Educator concerns on literacy are addressed, and ideas and strategies are shared to enhance their instructional practices.

Reading Comprehension Strategies:

The Intersen Phase Educator Workshop focuses on enhancing reading comprehension skills in Grade 4-7 students. Through an interactive session, educators receive survival skills kits of resources, including print resources and question-answer strategies. Sample stories are utilized to apply the learned strategies, emphasizing finding and recording answers in complete sentences.

Technology Support:

To enable educators to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices, our program provides support for technology usage. Educators receive guidance on utilizing technology devices such as smart boards, projectors, laptops, and handheld devices. While internet and Wi-Fi limitations may pose challenges, we strive to equip educators with the basic skills required for navigating applications, conducting virtual meetings, and utilizing online resources.

Continued Professional Development:

Our program ensures ongoing support for educators through follow-up sessions and encourages the sharing of skills among peers. Educators are encouraged to apply the strategies and techniques learned during the workshops in their classrooms. By fostering a collaborative environment, we aim to facilitate continuous professional development and create a community of empowered educators.
